This full-time Junior Flooring Installer role suits someone developing a career in flooring. You will learn from experienced tradespeople while assisting with hardwood and engineered flooring, material handling, measuring, cutting, and finishing tasks. Previous flooring experience is an asset, while strong hands-on aptitude is also considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with hardwood and engineered flooring installation projects
- Prepare job sites and subfloors before installation
- Organize flooring materials, tools, and equipment
- Support measuring, layout, cutting, and installation tasks
- Keep work areas clean and protect finished surfaces
Requirements:
- One to two years of flooring or construction experience
- Interest in learning a skilled flooring trade
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work consistently
- Comfort with standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
- Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively
