Lead end-to-end plant performance as Sofina Foods’ Director, Operations in Brampton, with strategic leadership across manufacturing and food safety.
Reporting to the VP, Operations, this senior site leader oversees manufacturing, quality, maintenance, engineering, logistics, human resources, and customer service. The Director drives operational excellence through a high-performing team and manages performance against safety, cost, compliance, reliability, quality, and service indicators. Sofina Foods is a Canadian food manufacturer with brands including Lilydale®, Janes®, Butterball®, and Mastro®.
Key Responsibilities: Lead plant performance across all shifts and operational functions
Strengthen safety, environmental compliance, and corrective actions
Oversee quality assurance and food safety programs
Manage capacity, yield,



labour efficiency, and overhead expenses
Develop leaders, succession plans, and operational capabilities
Requirements: Post-secondary degree in a related field
Minimum 10 years of plant or technical management experience
Senior leadership experience in complex unionized manufacturing
Experience leading maintenance, reliability, engineering, and capital projects
Continuous improvement, communication, and change leadership capability
Bring plant leadership, food safety, reliability, and continuous improvement expertise to Sofina Foods’ Brampton operations.
