As a Tactical Security Guard, you will help protect students, staff, and stakeholders through monitoring, access control, and incident response. Daily duties include enforcing college procedures, identifying hazards, and reporting security breaches. Solid radio communication, discretion, and problem-solving are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor campus CCTV systems continuously
Operate security control room equipment
Communicate through two-way radio dispatch
Manage site access and security concerns
Respond to security incident calls
Requirements: Minimum one year of security experience
Comfort with CCTV software and radio communication
Ability to problem solve and use discretion
Experience de-escalating conflicts and managing crowds
Ability to stand and walk up to 12 hours
Use control room operations, incident response, and practical judgment to support Securiguard campus security teams in Simcoe County.
