Thales Canada Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Specialist for AJISS Engineering support. This hybrid position addresses marine and auxiliary systems aboard Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels and Joint Support Ships. The work includes service-provider coordination, technical oversight, and supportability assessments.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical advice for marine equipment operation and maintenance
Coordinate defect investigations with service providers and ship personnel
Manage providers conducting onboard work when required
Assess alternate parts and obsolescence issues




Promote effective practices for RAS equipment
Requirements: Minimum five years’ recent marine or offshore technical experience
Red Seal Mechanical, Millwright, Power Engineering, or equivalent certification
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Fluency in English with strong communication skills
Ability to obtain NATO Secret and Controlled Goods authorization
Bring naval mechanical systems knowledge, troubleshooting capability, and transparent communication to Thales AJISS technical support.
