As an API Lead Architect, you will define strategy, governance, security, and reusable standards for enterprise APIs. You will design scalable microservices, event-driven architectures, and AWS solutions. The work includes API management, integration patterns, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and architecture governance. You will collaborate with business and product teams while mentoring engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities: Define enterprise API architecture, strategy, governance, security, and standards
Design REST, GraphQL, event-driven APIs, and microservices architectures
Architect secure, resilient, highly available AWS cloud-native solutions




Lead API management implementations using Apigee, MuleSoft, Kong, or Azure
Lead architecture reviews, modernization, governance, collaboration, and mentoring
Requirements: Knowledge of AWS API, compute, database, messaging, and monitoring services
Experience with REST, GraphQL, SOAP, OpenAPI, and API lifecycle management
Proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and Istio
Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD, and observability practices
