Provide direct personal care as a Personal Support Worker at Tendercare Living Centre in Scarborough, Ontario, supporting residents with daily needs.

Extendicare invites PSWs to apply for temporary part time and casual work in a 204-bed long-term care home. You will support residents’ physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs through established routines. The work includes personal care, activities, meals, documentation, and resident support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with ambulation, feeding, bathing, and grooming
- Support participation in resident activity programs
- Provide meal service and nourishment delivery
- Offer emotional and social support, including palliative care
- Document care and follow safety and infection-control procedures

Requirements:

- Completed an approved Personal Support Worker program
- Long-term care nursing experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of care planning systems and documentation
- Ability to read and write English and follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
