Wizeprep is hiring its second engineer to build production web applications in a small product team. You will improve student and tutor workflows, contribute to architecture, and shape a platform serving hundreds of thousands of students. The role requires product judgment, UX instincts, and end-to-end ownership.
Key Responsibilities: Build and ship full-stack features in Rails and React
Improve core student and tutor workflows
Design backend solutions in the Rails monolith
Identify and fix UX friction independently
Iterate using real user feedback
Requirements: Five-plus years building production web applications
Rails and React experience preferred, or equivalent stack experience
Comfort owning features end to end
Robust UX instincts and product-minded judgment
Ability to make pragmatic speed-quality trade-offs
