Prepare meals for Cogir Senior Living residents, guests, and employees as a Cook supporting food safety and therapeutic diets. This temporary schedule includes every other weekend, 6:30am-2:30pm.
Reporting to the Culinary Manager, you will prepare and deliver food in a retirement residence setting. The work includes reviewing menus, following production sheets, using standardized recipes, and serving meals attractively. You will also support specialty diets, menu substitutions, temperature audits, and scheduled meal service.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver food for residents, guests, and employees
Review menus and production sheets before preparing meals
Prepare therapeutic and specialty diets according to planned menus




Complete daily temperature audits and record findings
Follow recipes, production charts, budgets, and service schedules
Requirements: Food Handler's Certificate required
Large quantity food preparation experience required
Healthcare or retirement setting experience preferred
Knowledge of special and therapeutic diets
Ability to lift heavy, hot items and stand throughout shifts
Bring food preparation, dietary knowledge, and secure handling practices to meaningful Cook work serving Cogir Senior Living residents.
