Domtar seeks a full time, permanent technician to maintain Maison Domtar, Jardin Domtar, and CPE Origami. The position involves building systems inspections, minor repairs, contractor supervision, and emergency response. Training will be provided alongside the current technician before retirement.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, lighting, and elevators
Adjust temperatures and comfort settings through building management software
Supervise specialized contractors and follow preventive maintenance schedules
Complete minor repairs and respond to employee requests




Respond to fire alarm and major building emergencies
Requirements: Vocational diploma in General Building Maintenance or equivalent technical training
At least three years’ building maintenance or mechanics experience
Spoken and written French proficiency
Initiative, thoroughness, manual dexterity, and sound judgment
Service-oriented approach during breakdowns and emergencies
Apply building systems expertise, repair skills, and sound judgment while maintaining Domtar facilities across downtown Montreal.
