Gestion Zagora, a residential property management company, is looking for a full time Payroll Specialist. You will run the biweekly payroll, keep payroll records and statutory deductions accurate, support HR and Accounting on payroll matters, handle the year-end slips and answer employees’ payroll questions.What we offer: a competitive salary, performance bonuses, life, health, vision and dental insurance, room to grow and a collaborative team. What you’ll do
Process the biweekly payroll
Maintain and update payroll records in the payroll system
Make sure every pay element is accurate: deductions, bonuses, commissions and benefits
Coordinate with HR on hires, departures and status changes
Ensure compliance with Québec and Canadian payroll law and employment standards
Manage statutory deductions (QPP/CPP, EI, QPIP, income tax)
Prepare payroll reports for management and Accounting
Handle year-end T4 and RL-1 slips
Keep payroll information confidential
What we’re looking for
2+ years of payroll administration experience
Experience with payroll software; ADP is an asset
Strong knowledge of Québec and Canadian payroll legislation
Accurate and detail-oriented
Organised, with good time management
Discreet with sensitive and confidential information
Excellent French and English communication
