Industrial mechanical maintenance is central to this Keyera Millwright contract, supporting equipment reliability at the Empress Plant outside Medicine Hat, Alberta.
As a skilled, safety-focused Millwright, you will maintain and repair rotating and stationary equipment. The two-year temporary position requires technical drawing interpretation, precision tools, rigging equipment, and accurate documentation. Collaboration with operations, maintenance, and contractors supports safe daily plant activities.
Key Responsibilities: Complete preventive and corrective maintenance according to procedures
Use tools, measuring instruments, and rigging equipment safely
Document equipment condition, work status, and follow-up needs
Maintain clean, organized, and protected work areas




Follow environmental, regulatory, permit, and lockout requirements
Requirements: Valid Journeyman Millwright ticket is required
At least five years of gas plant operations experience
Ability to read technical drawings and equipment specifications
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams
