The OCSB seeks an Abilities Management Officer with three to five years of related experience. You will manage case files, coordinate modified work programs, and advise supervisors and staff. The position requires knowledge of disability management, ergonomics, and Ontario legislation. Work collaboratively with Human Resources Officers, unions, healthcare professionals, third-party providers, and WSIB representatives to support timely employee solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage WSIB activities, forms, investigations, and return-to-work processes
- Support workplace accommodations and complex accommodation placements
- Maintain case files and collect appropriate medical documentation
- Conduct ergonomic assessments across schools and the board office
- Provide training, advice, and information sessions as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Three to five years of related work experience
- Experience with WSIB claims, accommodations, and employee investigations
- Knowledge of disability management and ergonomic principles
- Valid driver’s licence and personal vehicle required
