Your Opportunity: Reporting to the Facilities Maintenance and Engineering (FM&E;) Operations Supervisor, the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic performs duties within the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic trade certification. This role involves maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing Refrigeration and Air Conditioning components for productive operations. Key responsibilities include conducting routine maintenance, utilizing diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues, installing new systems, servicing systems, and maintaining detailed records of all work performed. The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic also collaborates with other maintenance staff and departments.
Description: Refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics install, maintain, repair and overhaul industrial, commercial and residential refrigeration and air conditioning systems and their component parts. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.
