Lead daily construction safety checks in Richmond with Cap West Group, using hazard recognition and organized documentation on active sites.

As Trade Safety Coordinator, you will support forming crews at 7008 River Parkway. The full time site role requires construction hazard knowledge, recordkeeping, and communication with Forepersons, workers, Superintendents, and safety representatives. You will help address deficiencies and maintain required safety records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Walk decks, stripping areas, routes, and storage areas daily
- Identify hazards and follow deficiencies through correction
- Check control zones, rigging, suspended loads, and landing areas
- Review FLHAs, toolbox talks, inspections, and safety records
- Coordinate corrective actions, orientations,



investigations, and safety meetings

Requirements:

- One to two years of construction experience preferred
- CSO certification or recognized occupational health and safety training preferred
- Knowledge of fall protection, lifting, and mobile equipment hazards
- Knowledge of tower crane operations and rigging practices
- Basic computer skills and organized follow-up ability
