Greater Napanee Fire Services ranks successful applicants on an eligibility list for recruit classes. Recruits complete the L&A; County Fire Recruit Program over 8 to 10 weeks. The program requires approximately 70 hours, with NFPA certification funded by the Town.
Key Responsibilities: Complete the L&A; County Fire Recruit Program
Attend approximately 70 training hours over 8 to 10 weeks
Work toward NFPA certification through funded training
Remain available for recruit class placement
Requirements: Hold a valid Ontario Class G licence
Ability to obtain an Ontario Class DZ licence
Provide a qualifying driver's abstract
Hold Grade 12 and be at least 18
Pass CPIC, physical, health, and proximity requirements
Bring licensing, physical readiness, and local availability to Greater Napanee Fire Services as a paid on-call firefighter.
