Cogir Senior Living seeks Licensed Practical Nurses for its retirement residence. You will provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed care while demonstrating compassion, empathy, and strong clinical knowledge. This position contributes to a multidisciplinary team serving seniors through personalized, resident-centric care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care according to provincial standards
Implement and evaluate resident care plans
Complete accurate clinical assessments and documentation
Communicate resident changes to families and teams
Coach and mentor unregulated care providers
Requirements: Current provincial Licensed Practical Nurse registration
Sound clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers preferred
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
Vulnerable Sector Check within six months, or willingness to obtain
