As an Engineer Design professional, you will turn customer requirements into practical audiovisual solutions. Your work covers functional descriptions, block diagrams, drawings, calculations, acoustical modeling, and technical pricing. You will also review pre-construction documents and identify logistical challenges.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as technical consultant to the sales force
Review pre-construction design and documentation
Assist with technical design and project pricing
Design wall plates and overlays
Obtain project sign-off when needed
Requirements: Skilled communication with clients and colleagues
Proven business writing skills
Proficiency with test and calibration equipment
Ability to diagnose complex system problems
Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract
Use AV engineering judgment, technical writing, and proposal support skills to shape customer-ready audiovisual system designs.
