As an Environmental Compliance Officer, you will enforce local, provincial, and federal environmental requirements. You will assess facilities, review impact assessments, reports, and permit applications, and provide guidance to organizations and stakeholders. The role also addresses complaints, violations, and sustainability issues.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor and enforce environmental regulations and standards
Conduct facility and operational inspections and audits
Review assessments, reports, and permit applications
Investigate complaints and violations, taking enforcement action
Prepare detailed compliance and enforcement documentation
Requirements: Certification or diploma in Environmental Science or related field
Experience as an environmental compliance officer or inspector
