American Iron & Metal needs a hands-on Yard Operations Supervisor skilled in employee coaching, workflow organization, and operational oversight.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will supervise, lead, and control operational tasks relating to the yard. You will set goals, organize employee duties, and respond to quality, productivity, and health and safety requirements. Success requires clear communication and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Organize workflow and ensure employees understand duties
Set performance goals aligned with company plans
Provide constructive productivity feedback and coaching
Share information between management and employees
Lead by example as a hands-on manager
Requirements: Previous supervisor experience
Knowledge of different commercial trucks and forklifts
Ability to learn diverse job descriptions
Good knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office
Commitment to excellence and constant improvement
Use hands-on leadership, employee coaching, and workflow organization to support productive yard operations at AIM.
