The role leads complex files independently while navigating policy, geopolitical, and market considerations. It also delivers advice and high-profile engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop domestic and international advocacy and engagement strategies
- Lead ministerial missions, conferences, and major engagements
- Manage complex projects with minimal supervision
- Conduct market intelligence, stakeholder analysis,



and policy research
- Prepare briefing materials, correspondence, and recommendations

Requirements:

- University degree in a related field
- Minimum four years of related experience
- Ability to build team-oriented domestic and international networks
- Experience assessing complex and ambiguous issues
- Knowledge of Alberta’s energy industry and global energy landscape
