Support Up-to-date Niagara’s Ottawa finance team with accounts receivable expertise, construction billing, collections, and accurate customer account reconciliation.
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, this specialist handles accounting functions supporting construction projects. The work includes billing, collections, cash receipts, account analysis, and customer communication. Collaboration with finance, operations, and Controllers helps maintain cash flow and collection targets.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain the Accounts Receivable subledger and current records
Prepare monthly construction project billings and upload documents
Process daily cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts




Monitor AR Aging and follow up on overdue payments
Resolve invoice concerns and forecast cash receipts collaboratively
Requirements: Three or more years in a fast-paced, high-volume business
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Accounting degree or diploma considered an asset
Construction, Procore, or NetSuite experience considered an asset
Apply accounts receivable, construction billing, and collections expertise to support Modern Niagara’s Ottawa finance operations.
