EXP seeks an Intermediate Structural Engineer for its Markham office. The position supports residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects through structural analysis and design. You will coordinate with drafting and BIM professionals, engineers, owners, architects, and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with steel, concrete, and masonry structural design
- Support renovations of existing buildings
- Direct the drafting and BIM team independently
- Participate in design and construction site meetings
- Review construction work against drawings and contract documents
Requirements:
- Degree in Structural Engineering from a recognized university
- P. Eng. licence, or nearing licensure
- Preferably three to eight years’ structural engineering experience
- Experience with NBCC, CSA standards, and structural software
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
