Provide palliative nursing care at Emmanuel House Hospice in Hamilton, using clinical assessment and evidence-based pain management. Work rotating 12-hour days and nights.

Good Shepherd seeks a Registered Nurse for its ten-bed palliative care facility. You will support individuals nearing life’s end and their families within a person-centered, holistic model. The team includes personal support workers, nurses, physicians, and spiritual and psychosocial professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide palliative nursing care in a home-like hospice setting
- Assess pain and symptoms using evidence-based practices
- Support individuals and families facing end-of-life care
- Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Observe health and safety rules and regulations

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS certificate or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Previous palliative care or end-of-life experience
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
