Operate heavy equipment for Webber’s seasonal highway maintenance, with snow removal, road repair, and rigorous safety awareness required. This position serves infrastructure assets across Ontario.
As a Seasonal Equipment Operator with Webber, a Ferrovial company, you will maintain roads, bridges, medians, signs, guardrails, fences, lighting, and vegetation. Duties include winter snow and ice removal, summer surface repairs, traffic control, and transporting crews and equipment. You will respond to emergency rotations as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Remove snow and ice using snow removal equipment
Apply salt and perform seasonal road maintenance
Repair highway surfaces, potholes, signs, and guardrails
Set up and remove traffic control devices
Transport crews and equipment to work sites
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
One or more years of related work experience
Valid Ontario Class DZ driver’s license
Acceptable driving record; AZ license is an asset
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Bring heavy equipment operation, road maintenance, and safety skills to Webber’s seasonal infrastructure management work in Ontario.
