As a part-time Hatchery Worker – Production, you may work in the Chick Room, Sanitation, Box Wash, Hatcher operations, or Delivery. The role provides on-the-job training and cross-training across multiple departments. Your work supports quality, animal welfare, biosecurity, sanitation, and daily production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Grade and sort chicks in the Chick Room
- Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas
- Wash chick boxes, dollies, and egg trays
- Support general labour positions across production areas
- Follow established sanitation procedures and biosecurity protocols

Requirements:

- Flexible, dependable, and eager to learn
- Strong attention to detail and protected work practices
- Ability to work until daily production tasks finish
- Ability to stand and repeatedly lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to meet PCP, WHMIS, and CFIA requirements
