Apply industrial welding and fabrication skills at Centerra Gold’s Mount Milligan Mine near Prince George, British Columbia. This camp-based role follows 12-hour, 7-on, 7-off shifts.
The Trade, Mill Welder supports equipment reliability across a conventional open-pit copper and gold mine and concentrator. You will maintain fixed-plant systems, complete quality repairs, and fabricate components for crushing, grinding, flotation, conveyors, and material handling. Work takes place in field and shop environments.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, sketches, and repair instructions
Select welding procedures, consumables, equipment, and materials
Inspect weld quality, dimensions, and fitness for service
Identify wear, cracks, structural damage, and equipment defects




Coordinate maintenance work with operations, supervisors, and other trades
Requirements: Welding certification and Class 5 driver’s licence required
Industrial welding, cutting, fitting, gouging, and fabrication proficiency
Mining or fixed-plant maintenance experience considered an asset
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
Own required hand tools and maintain them properly
Bring careful workmanship, technical interpretation, and preventative maintenance knowledge to industrial equipment reliability at Mount Milligan.
