This experienced Social Worker role triages new referrals into the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub. You will assess whether children and families require intervention and support. The post involves working with Police, Health, Education, Housing, domestic violence advocates, Early Help, and Assessment Service partners.
Key Responsibilities: Triage recent referrals into the MASH
Apply thresholds when assessing children’s needs
Make timely decisions about intervention and support
Work with partner agencies on referrals
Report to MASH Team Managers
Requirements: Experienced Social Worker background
Sound knowledge of threshold application
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Full Remedy registration for locum work
Bring experienced social work judgment, referral triage, and partnership skills to Peterborough’s MASH safeguarding service.
