As a Data Developer Intern, you will support Precision Drilling’s Alpha™ Technologies product line. You will develop ETL scripts, implement data quality checks, configure monitoring, and create operational dashboards. The internship suits current post-secondary students pursuing Computer Science or Computer Engineering degrees or technical diplomas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize batch and real-time ETL scripts
- Implement automated data quality and reliability checks
- Configure pipeline health monitoring and alerting systems
- Analyze data issues and assist with resolution
- Create dashboards visualizing data quality metrics
Requirements:
- Second year or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Experience with Python data development and testing tools
- Git experience for source code management
- SQL writing experience is beneficial
- Availability for May 6, 2026, and Calgary housing or transportation
