About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Privacy Officer to lead its enterprise privacy program and set the strategy, governance, policies, and priorities for privacy risk management and regulatory compliance. The role oversees privacy-by-design, impact assessments, consent management, and data governance, while advising executives and governance bodies on significant risks and regulatory developments. The CPO leads responses to privacy incidents, investigations, complaints, and regulatory reviews,

and serves as the primary contact for regulators on material privacy matters. The position also includes building a high-performing privacy team and reporting on program effectiveness, risk exposure, and strategic progress.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in law, information management, privacy, business, risk management, public policy, or a related field, along with at least 10 years of progressive experience in privacy or a related discipline. At least five years of senior leadership experience leading enterprise-wide privacy or compliance programs is required, as is deep knowledge of Canadian privacy legislation, regulatory expectations, and governance frameworks. Applicants should bring experience advising executives, boards, regulators, and governance committees, as well as leading incident management and regulatory engagement. Solid communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills are essential; a relevant professional designation is an asset.
