The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager across pharmacy operations at Walmart’s Edmonton location. You will provide patient care informed by consultations or file reviews, accept prescriptions, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products. The position also supports services such as medication reviews and injections.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Pharmacy Manager with all pharmacy operations
Accept prescriptions and refill requests from authorized sources
Fill prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely
Counsel patients on sold pharmaceutical products
Protect patient privacy and follow provincial regulations
Requirements: Hold a Pharmacist License
Additional Prescribing Authorization permit optionally applies in Alberta
Operate pharmacy registers and computer systems
Follow established workflow models and Walmart SOPs
