Lead financial planning and analysis for Canlan Sports from its Burnaby Central Office, using forecasting and financial modeling to guide decisions.
Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Finance steers financial planning, analysis, and decision-making. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and commercial contract review. It also develops people while supporting Canlan Sports’ financial resilience and growth.
Key Responsibilities: Lead annual budgeting and improve rolling forecast processes
Analyze financials, variances, forecasts, and performance indicators
Prepare consolidated P&L; and cash flow projections
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close




Mentor Financial Analyst and supervise strategic sourcing leadership
Requirements: Six-plus years of progressive finance, accounting, and compliance experience
At least two years leading a team
Hands-on budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation experience
Advanced Excel and financial modeling capability
Bachelor’s degree plus CPA, MBA, or CFA designation
Bring FP&A; leadership, analytical judgment, and financial modeling expertise to Canlan Sports’ Burnaby finance team.
