AlgaeCal seeks a Senior QA Developer for its QA team. You will improve quality, stability, and reliability across a React-based storefront and internal middleware. The work includes Shopify Hydrogen, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and digital marketing technology.
Key Responsibilities: Build, maintain, and improve automated testing strategies
Develop reliable tests using JavaScript and TypeScript
Investigate unreliable tests and improve test coverage
Integrate automated tests into cloud-based CI/CD pipelines
Report coverage, execution times, failures, and production bugs
Requirements: Three or more years of QA development experience
Robust JavaScript and TypeScript skills
Hands-on Cypress, Playwright, or similar framework experience
Experience testing APIs and investigating performance
Experience with eCommerce websites and systems
