Build Joist’s Android application remotely from Canada using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and up-to-date mobile development practices for contractors.
As an Android Engineer at EverPro, you will contribute to solutions from inception through deployment. You will design reliable code, collaborate with product managers and designers, and improve applications serving contractors. The work supports Joist’s estimating, invoicing, payments, and project management platform.
Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain reliable Android application code
Define, design, and ship features with cross-functional teams
Improve application performance, quality, and responsiveness
Review code and mentor junior team members
Identify bugs, bottlenecks, and solutions
Requirements: Five to seven years developing native Android applications
Proficiency with Kotlin and solid Java understanding
Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Hilt
Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns and RESTful APIs
Experience testing, profiling, Git, and continuous delivery tools
