GE Vernova seeks a Senior Software Engineer focused on DevOps practices and infrastructure. You will support on-premise, container-based environments, microservices, and enterprise system integration. The work spans software implementation, troubleshooting, customization, and integration with GE and customer systems.
Key Responsibilities: Lead on-premise container deployment infrastructure evolution
Architect build infrastructure with Ansible, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory
Advise customers on infrastructure-as-code practices
Implement, integrate, and validate system changes
Monitor systems, resolve defects, and optimize performance
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
At least five years in deployment, DevOps, development, or integration
At least three years managing Kubernetes and microservices
Willingness to travel 10–20% of the time
Experience with ArgoCD, Helm, or Red Hat Linux
