Reporting to the Director of Communications & Events, the Manager, Events delivers City-led and City-supported events. Responsibilities span venue requirements, contracts, financial reporting, staff supervision, event committees, and operational planning. The role also evaluates attendance, performance, and economic effect while collaborating with City departments and facility operators.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate venues, logistics, and operational planning
Supervise and support assigned staff
Manage contracts, budgets, and financial reporting




Collaborate on promotion, ticket sales, and sponsorship recognition
Evaluate event results and improvement opportunities
Requirements: Three to five years of relevant event experience
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to manage competing priorities
Sound judgment, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities
Availability for occasional evenings and weekends
