As Director, Strategic Alignment and Portfolio Management, you will lead a portfolio of more than ten critical applications. You will partner with business and technology leaders on portfolio strategy, modernization, governance, and delivery outcomes. The position requires business acumen, technology knowledge, and executive influence across complex stakeholder environments.
Key Responsibilities: Develop technology portfolio roadmaps aligned with business and enterprise strategy
Lead planning, prioritization, governance, and executive reporting
Evaluate opportunities, trade-offs, and investment value with senior leaders
Oversee delivery performance, risks, dependencies, capacity, and financial outcomes




Drive modernization and long-term strategies across critical platforms
Requirements: 10+ years in technology leadership, portfolio, program management, or transformation
Prior software development experience and application lifecycle understanding
Complex portfolio leadership and executive stakeholder influence
Strategic thinking, business acumen, and financial management capabilities
Exceptional communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
Lead BMO’s critical technology portfolio through strategic alignment, modernization, governance, and investment decisions across Investment & Corporate Banking.
