This Medical Director position provides scientific leadership across emerging assets and current cross-therapeutic initiatives in Canada. You will drive medical readiness, stakeholder engagement, data generation, and launch planning while leading an agile medical team. The position spans oncology, immunology, cardiology, neuroscience, and other disease areas as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and deploy therapeutic area medical strategies
Lead launch readiness and pre-launch medical activities
Identify data gaps and develop Data Generation Plans
Represent Canada on global teams and partner organizations

coach, and develop medical affairs team members
Requirements: PhD or MD preferred; PharmD or MSc minimum with experience
At least eight years pharmaceutical medical or scientific experience
Required people management experience
Strong GCP, IMC code, compliance, and regulatory knowledge
Proven clinical study development, presentation, and publication record
Apply medical affairs leadership, strategic thinking, and scientific expertise to advance emerging therapies across J&J; Innovative Medicine Canada.
