Lead Kafka event-driven integration delivery with modern Java at ML arteka, supporting distributed developers through technical execution and people management.
This Technical Lead owns the integration layer’s delivery while remaining hands-on with Java 17/21, concurrency, and event-streaming technologies. You will manage task allocation, capacity, mentoring, feedback, and delivery oversight across distributed onshore and offshore teams. The work connects downstream systems through business events and Kafka.
Key Responsibilities: Manage distributed developers and provide daily technical support
Plan capacity, allocate work, and report team progress
Lead event publishing and consumption through Kafka




Synchronize downstream systems using business events
Escalate technical risks and contribute to evolving estimates
Requirements: 10+ years of backend development experience
4+ years leading technical teams and managing developers
Modern Java 17/21 and concurrency experience
Hands-on Apache Kafka producer and consumer experience
Experience delivering with distributed onshore/offshore teams
Bring Kafka, up-to-date Java, and distributed delivery leadership to ML arteka’s enterprise integration development workstream.
