This Legal Counsel provides corporate and commercial support across Canada Goose’s domestic and international operations. You will independently manage daily legal needs, serve internal clients, and become a legal lead for selected subject matters. The scope evolves across the business.
Key Responsibilities: Provide hands on legal support across business areas
Manage internal client needs and assess risk
Lead selected legal subject matters and negotiations
Manage litigation and claims within relevant matters
Control legal spending in assigned responsibility areas
Requirements: Business savvy approach to commercial legal advice
Experience supporting organizations with international operations
Exposure to broad legal practice experience
Ability to explain complex issues simply
Solid negotiation, organization, and influencing skills
Use corporate awareness, independent judgment, and negotiation skills while advising Canada Goose teams from its Toronto headquarters.
