Advance PMO excellence as a Senior Project Manager within Thomson Reuters’ CIO Strategy & Operations team. Work hybrid in Toronto while guiding complex technology programs and portfolios.
This position combines subject matter expertise with autonomous execution across a global, matrixed organization. You will evolve governance structures, operating rhythms, standards, tooling, and AI-enabled approaches. The role also calls for technical fluency and credible engagement with engineering and architecture teams on trade-offs.
Key Responsibilities: Evolve PMO governance structures, standards, and operating rhythms
Lead complex programs with significant risk and visibility
Identify dependencies affecting delivery across the portfolio




Advise management on complex project issues
Mentor project managers and track evolving PMO practices
Requirements: Experience with software development life cycles
Technical fluency across cloud, APIs, and data integration
Ability to engage engineering and architecture teams credibly
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred
Experience in global, matrixed technology organizations preferred
Use PMO leadership, technical fluency, and program expertise to improve delivery discipline across Thomson Reuters technology initiatives.
