Engineer completions programs across the Wells Onshore portfolio, applying technical design and cost estimating skills to well-related work. Collaborate with internal clients and field personnel.
The Completions Engineer serves as liaison between the Completions group and internal clients. This position engineers, estimates, and programs work across Fort Hills, Syncrude, Base Plant, and Lewis property areas. You will support secure project execution, operational requirements, KPI reporting, vendor coordination, and evolving completion designs for vertical and horizontal wells.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Opex work, pump replacements, casing cut-downs, and decommissioning
Design ESP replacement, suspension, re-entry, abandonment, and winter programs




Develop engineering programs for well and downhole operations
Maintain KPI reporting for completions and winter operations
Coordinate vendors, materials, services, schedules, and field execution
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Registered or immediately eligible for APEGA professional registration
Interest in completions and downhole operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with SAP and Wellview
Apply engineering, programming, vendor coordination, and field collaboration skills to Wells Onshore completions projects.
