This hands-on Divisional Controller position oversees financial operations for newly added commercial properties within a respected Canadian organization. You will support a client currently operating on MRI while collaborating with a broader organization using Yardi. The work connects property accounting leadership, reporting accuracy, and trusted relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Integrate a significant new property management portfolio
Support MRI-based client operations during onboarding
Manage cash, forecasts, distributions, and lender reporting
Complete monthly reporting, GST compliance, and audits
Mentor property accounting professionals and improve controls
Requirements: Extensive commercial property management accounting experience
At least five years of hands-on property accounting experience
Solid MRI experience is essential
Proven staff leadership or mentoring experience
Knowledge of Yardi, lease interpretation, and financial controls
Use MRI, property accounting, and portfolio integration experience to oversee financial reporting for Vancouver-area commercial properties.
