Own eight to thirteen Shopify projects at once as elk Marketing’s Development Project Manager, guiding technical delivery and client decisions.
This contractor position suits someone who can switch context, solve undefined problems, and maintain momentum through launch. You will oversee Shopify site design, Liquid builds, Hydrogen development, conversion tracking, reporting, and ongoing updates. You will also act as the communication point when timelines or release decisions change.
Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple Shopify projects through changing priorities
Determine project participants for undefined client requests
Create plans for work without established processes
Review deliverables and prevent incorrect work from launching




Tell clients and teams when delivery needs adjustment
Requirements: Enterprise-level Shopify development project experience
Experience managing developers while communicating with clients directly
Robust knowledge of Shopify themes and settings
Understanding of the Shopify app ecosystem
Very comfortable managing work in Asana
Apply Shopify delivery judgment, technical coordination, and client communication across elk Marketing’s varied development workload.
