Lead boating programs at YMCA Camp Pine Crest in Torrance, Ontario, using waterfront safety and lifeguarding expertise. Seasonal camp work requires six days weekly.

The Boating Program Head coordinates daily boating delivery and supports safe waterfront operations. This seasonal contract role plans skill-based activities, guides staff, and maintains boating areas and equipment. You will also support camp-wide programming, cabin planning, and Resource Team assignments while following YMCA policies, procedures, and Ontario Camps Association standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and directly deliver secure, engaging boating programs
- Plan skill-level blocks aligned with Camp Pine Crest levels
- Monitor waterfront safety and respond to concerns




- Perform lifeguarding duties during boating and waterfront blocks
- Maintain docks, boats, and related equipment

Requirements:

- First Aid and CPR certification meeting stated requirements
- National Lifeguard Service, ORCKA Basic Instructor, and operator card
- At least two years in camp, aquatic, or waterfront environments
- Ability to mentor staff and provide constructive feedback
- Flexibility for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
