Lead Lids retail performance through sales expertise and customer service while supporting store operations and team engagement in an assistant management capacity.
As Assistant Store Manager, you support the Store Manager across people, training, customer experience, operations, and inventory. You act as manager on duty when needed, guide associates through Lids Training Programs, and help deliver licensed sports headwear and apparel experiences. You also support selling strategies, merchandising, cash handling, technology maintenance, and store standards.
Key Responsibilities: Act as manager on duty during Store Manager absences
Manage associates through training, goals, and follow-up
Resolve customer complaints and urgent escalations
Execute selling strategies,



promotions, and visual guidelines
Open, close, and maintain accurate store operations
Requirements: Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss
Strong qualified verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work unsupervised when required
Ability to stand constantly and walk frequently during shifts
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Support Lids store leadership with sales execution, associate training, customer service, and dependable operational oversight.
