Capital Engineering seeks an experienced Electrical Designer for its Edmonton team. You will prepare design documents, coordinate disciplines, and support project execution. The work covers industrial distribution systems, codes, standards, and client requirements across project life cycles.
Key Responsibilities: Complete lighting, tray fill, cable sizing, and voltage calculations
Use vendor software packages and calculation spreadsheets
Coordinate designs with piping, civil, mechanical, and process disciplines
Review designs for logic, functionality, codes, and client standards




Support site-based design and construction activities when required
Requirements: Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Five-plus years of relevant electrical design experience
Knowledge of electrical design fields and associated CAD software
Experience developing and modifying three-dimensional electrical models
Fluent written and spoken English with field visit capability
