We are a professional family in the East Gwillimbury looking for a reliable, caring, and organized live-in nanny/housekeeper to join our home long-term. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both childcare and household management in a warm, respectful environment.

About the Role

Full-time, live-in position (40 hours per week)

Private furnished room and private bathroom provided

Meals included

Car provided for work-related driving (daycare drop-off, errands, groceries)

Long-term, secure employment in a respectful and supportive household

Our Family

One 3-year-old boy (in daycare Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.)

One newborn (arriving soon)

Key Responsibilities

Daily childcare: morning/evening routines, playtime, reading, and development-focused activities

Newborn care assistance (feeding, soothing, naps, bottle preparation/sterilization)

Occasional night-time help with the baby when needed (not nightly)

Full housekeeping: daily cleaning, laundry, linens, general home organization

Family meal preparation and grocery errands





Light household coordination (supplies, deliveries, simple scheduling)

Requirements

Prior experience with newborns and toddlers

Comfortable with a live-in arrangement

Valid driver's license (clean record; car provided)

Honest, patient, dependable, and proactive

References required

Must be legally able to work in Canada (citizen, PR, or valid work permit)

Schedule

40 hours per week

One full day off per week

Occasional evening or overnight support when the newborn requires attention

Compensation

Competitive monthly salary based on experience

All living expenses covered (room, food, utilities, supplies, vehicle use)

Paid vacation after probationary period
