Support medical patients through daily care as a Personal Support Worker, using compassionate assistance, CPR certification, and patient-focused communication.
This temporary part time Personal Support Worker serves CGMH’s Medical team for approximately six months. The position supports activities of daily living, patient transfers, medication reminders, and documentation. You will also observe patient changes, communicate care information, and restock clinical supplies.
Key Responsibilities: Assist patients with feeding, bathing, toileting, and oral hygiene
Complete lifts, transfers, and movement within the hospital
Support medication assistance and reminders under established policies
Report and document safety, behavioral, physical,



and cognitive changes
Maintain Meditech progress notes and intervention documentation
Requirements: PSW certification or partial post-secondary nursing education
Current CPR certification
Experience in rapidly changing, high-paced environments
Experience with Meditech Expanse is preferred
