Operate snowplows and loaders while patrolling highways for Ledcor in a winter seasonal role focused on road safety. Local applicants are preferred.
Ledcor’s Patrollers help maintain Ontario Provincial Highways from September through May. The work combines road-condition reporting, forecast tracking, equipment operation, and communication with operators and supervisors. Accommodations and a meal allowance are available in Chapleau.
Key Responsibilities: Operate snowplow trucks and wheel loaders
Report highway conditions during scheduled patrols
Track weather events and forecast information
Identify priority locations for maintenance attention
Help address health, safety, and environmental concerns
Requirements: Minimum full G license required
Explicit three-year driver’s abstract required
AZ or DZ license preferred
Professional written and verbal communication abilities
Experience with Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word
