Support Bulkley Lodge in Smithers as a Maintenance Worker handling facility repairs, equipment, grounds, and related administrative duties. Northern Health seeks dedicated maintenance expertise.
This position works under the general supervision of a Manager or designate at Bulkley Lodge. You will maintain and repair buildings, grounds, and equipment while supervising designated staff and contractors. Duties span carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting across the facility.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain Bulkley Lodge buildings, grounds, and equipment
Repair facility systems through carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting
Supervise designated Maintenance staff performing related work
Coordinate contractors involved in repair and maintenance
Complete associated administrative duties
Requirements: Grade 10 plus three years recent related experience
Equivalent education, training, and experience combination accepted
Deal effectively with others
Demonstrate physical ability for position duties
Operate related equipment and organize work
Use broad building maintenance skills and supervisory ability to help keep Bulkley Lodge facilities operating in Smithers.
